Most citizens do not understand the difference between a temporary detention center (IVS) and a pre-trial detention center (SIZO). Some generally believe that if a person is placed in a temporary detention facility, it means that he has already been recognized as a criminal and sent to prison, and in general there is no way back from the temporary detention center.
